Based in Christchurch, South East Earthworks provides a full demolition service: demolishing homes, buildings and structures, clearing and preparing sites. Following demolition, we can also undertake bulk earthworks and excavation - such as hill cuts and site scrapes, through to building foundations, utilities, roading and footpaths.

We have the team, expertise, machinery and equipment to work on residential, commercial and industrial demolition projects throughout Canterbury and the South Island. Previous demolition projects include demolishing earthquake-damaged properties, through our involvement with the Christchurch and Canterbury rebuild, and assisting the NZ Fire Service with house demolition, resulting from the Christchurch Port Hills fires in 2017.

Health and Safety is a crucial aspect of every demolition project. South East Works is comprehensively insured, fully licensed and Site Safe Accredited. We are also SiteWise Green Accredited and for every demolition site, we work to a comprehensive Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP).
